One God, One Way

God loves us all and I will never say differently that we all have the same chances at salvation and eternal life. Yet we have the warning signs in the Bible that many choose to ignore and possibly to their damnation of them or ones they love.We many have friends and loved ones we can pray find their way to Christ but we cannot lie to them or ourselves and say, "Oh they probably will go to heaven." We are all responsible to read the word and to know what it says and God has not changed his mind on anything since that bible was written so if some man said God did; he or she is a liar. If you will not accept God's words whether you think they are mean or not, if they are God's, they are God's and that is not something anyone should lie about. It puts fear in me for that person to think that someone I love would do that.

We don't have to worry if we live a Christian life, we have complete freedom from fear and we never have to be afraid, we are completely protected as long as we walk with Him. We are joint-heirs with Jesus; those who belong to God. Yet God can even be displeased with ones in the Church and part of Christ’s body. He is Father to us and does chastise as fathers should to remind us we are His and therefore He expects us to act like Him and make a good showing for him, being His children. We nor anyone we know cannot get around God's words and think we can live any life we want and go to heaven; it may be sad but I did not write the bible but I have read it and anyone who can read and calls themselves a Christian has that same responsibility.

The believer's sins cannot be punished as a judgment with all sin covered already [Rom. 8:3], but the Christian may be chastised. The Christian is a member of the family of God. Now the relationship of God and Christian is like that of parent and child and as a child must be corrected for sin. He will judge and have vengeance on His enemies not His children. We are not to play with God's enemies. Jesus is there with God and we are a part of Jesus, you could almost say we are, because one day we will be one body with Christ, but for now although our salvation is covered we cannot do just as we please and we must look at what we do have and know it to be true. If we are not living a Christian life, maybe we are not Christian. Loving God and having Him in your heart does not mean coward as I have written here before, but it also does not mean we should be blind. If something or someone does wrong, especially in the body of Christ the bible tells us to go to that person and face them with that wrong, does it not?

[Luke 17: 3] Tells us to rebuke our brother and if he repents, forgive him. It also says to love your brother and of course I do, { I love many here that I don't see eye to eye with] but apparently if he does not repent he can't be given forgiveness. But as many times as he repents you must forgive. The bible is what we live by and that is all we can do. We cannot take the truth and change it to suit ourselves and being far from perfect I still do not comment on subjects unless I know what the bible says. If I give you God's words and you hate me, you hate God's words. That is a dangerous thing to do. Rebuking your brother or sister is for his or her sake. It also warns you if you don't. I think it is saying by over looking that person's wrong you are giving your OK on it and may well be considered a part of. People live in sin today and Christian's will sin, I am a sinner, we all are but if you live in sin you are not a Christian. If you obey all commandments and have not love you are not a Christian.

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not Christ and His Love I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. Though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not Christ and His Love, I am nothing. Though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not Christ and His Love, it profits me nothing.” I Cor. 13:1-3

If you see a Christian who sins and is not chastised you can know he is really no Christian for we are told in Heb 12: 6-9 "For whom the Lord loves he chastens and scourges every son whom he receives. If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons."

Divine chastisement is sent for the good of His children: "We have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? They for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but He for our profit, so we might be participants of His holiness" (Heb. 12:9-10).

Chastisement focuses more on discipline and training than punishment. God may use circumstances to move us toward sanctification. Without Godly chastisement, we may go in a number of wrong ways and with the wrong people, and God gives all these warning of what not to do and who not to be around that could cause us to go in the wrong directions. Sometimes maybe God will put something on us to keep us in the right place for our own good.

We all recall what Paul said I am sure. "And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. (2 Cor. 12:7).

This was his "thorn" sent not because of sin, but to prevent pride.

I am sure we have all laughed about a parent saying, “This hurts me more than it does you.” God gives us chastisement for our good, not to get even, because He loves us and we should give thanks for we know when we are getting off the path and there is only one path for Christians, not many, and there is but one true God, not many. God wants us to love our enemies but He warns us also to stay away from them too, doesn’t He? Many today are playing a dangerous game to think like drug addicts did in the 60’s and 70’s. Love, love and everything is good and we all are one all over the world in the Lord. Anyone in the Word knows we are headed to a one world government and a one world religion and that is not for the Christian. Not the real ones, anyway.

I have always wondered why I have never found a book or writing on the penalties of sin that we can plainly see. If you overeat you will have health problems. Alcoholics suffer from liver problems I have heard and probably much more than I know about. Promiscuous people who do not do as God says and marry if they must have sex because he says it is better to marry than to burn did He not? And ones who don't live by the vows they take and have affairs or just anyone in general, what all do they face? Look at the many diseases just from sex. Some leading to death. Does no one connect that as a consequence of sin? The bad part is it can be brought to a spouse who is guilty of nothing. Do I have the answer there? No. Look at Job, I always wonder about the people dead, testing him. Do I understand that? No. I trust God for those answers one day and maybe the way to look at it is death is a good thing, but Job lived on, to suffer. Hard for us to understand but I know God has the answers and I will one day have them too. But our bible tell us without doubt what is right and what is wrong and God has not changed His mind!

Some will arise to eternal damnation, but God's children will arise to eternal glory. That day is not far off, for God does not bring on his children punishment and damnation; only His enemies. Jesus will soon come and we are to be aware and watching and waiting. We need to all make sure our lives are in order and only surround ourselves with goodness and Godly things and God and the truth, for the truth will set you free. In the end days even families will be divided. Are these words of Jesus hate words sisters and brothers in Christ? >

[Luke 12: 49-56]>“I came to cast fire on the earth, and would that it were already kindled! I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how great is my distress until it is accomplished! Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. For from now on in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”

I understand that verse from Jesus all too well and never would I put my earthly family before my brothers and sisters in Christ. Never. Never would I walk with God's enemies and call them good. Never would I put my soul in danger making up lies to suit my wishes.

Your family is in Christ not of flesh, and if your own family lives in sin, you pray all you want but you do not live with those living in sin and it is hard enough I imagine God knows for us even separating ourselves from those who live lives against Gods commandments, that is why he says to remove ourselves from all evil or even the appearance of evil.

You should witness to all you can as often as you can but if they are not Christians with the right belief; then they are not saved, they are not going to Heaven and you can’t take them with you just because you are friends with them or family of them. But they might take you with them! I believe the words God gave us and I will never be 'politically correct' in order to make friends and go against God Almighty.
